I can analyze galaxies and the differences between galaxies. I will compare the Milky Way Galaxy to other types of galaxies.
There are differences between galaxies. It can be because of the how many stars there Is in one galaxy or what color the galaxy is, or even what the shape of the galaxies are. In the case our galaxy, it is a spiral galaxy, with not only the earth and the sun; but with 100 billon other stars. In the Milky Way the sun is pretty far away from the center part, it more of to the edge of the galaxy in the Milky Way. The way the Milky Way is shaped is, it has sort of, this kind of arms that lead of, and more and more arms. Our galaxy is the color white, and bluish. Our galaxy is spinning (revolving) around in space in over million miles per hour, but no matter what, it still has to at least have 200 million years for it to go just around once. Just like other galaxies our Milky Way has, some kind of bulge and halo. A lot of the galaxies have that, and the Milky Way is one of them to have that kind of shape. In our galaxy there is something called the sun. you might have already heard about that, but I thought I might just bring up how old it is. Our sun is about 5 billion years old. And I’m sure that you wont believe this but the Milky Way is more likely to be twice as much as that old. So as you can see not only is there the sun and the earth in our galaxy, but there are millions, billions of stars.

I can identify key technological advancements that helped in making our knowledge of space expand. My research will show the past, but I will also predict what future advancements may stretch our limits even more.
The most recent report of NASA, is that they tried to send an extra space shuttle to space. But it didn’t work as planned. Now the NASA has some questions about whether they are going to be able to send another space shuttle or not. In last year of 2010 president Barrack Obama authorized a NASA meeting. And they said "that they need to make two more shuttle trips before the aging- three orbiter fleet". (msn news). There are only two more tanks to make sure that the technology for this actually works.

Scientis tend to believe that our that out solar system was made when a bug mob of gas and dust in space was accidently bumped or sometihg like that. That star that bursted probably made the solar system when it was bursted and the gas when all over In space witch made it go in a big cloud. This cloud was called supernovia. And it is most likely that it was that star that made our solar system. The "explosion " of supernovia made somekind of waves in space that sorta squezzed the cloud of gass. And as the squezzing kept going and going the star kept callapsing the gravity kept pushing together. Witch with all of that gas make its way together it made the solar nebula. Its kinda like something that you are very familiar with. Think of a dancer. Do you know how they pull their arms in as they spin witch that makes them spin faster and faster each time they spin, so as the star kept spinning the faster the star kept collapsing. So the main point is that out solar system is made by a star called the "Supernovia".

There are some things in space that we might not even think about in our daily life schedule. But there are some people called scientist that their job is to think about this ordinary things in space. These things are comets, asteroids, meteors, and moons. There are some ways were they can be alike and then again there are some ways were they are completely different. Comets are littlle things made by dust and ice. That sort of grows a tail as it gets closer and closer to the sun. Comets also have a nucleus, witch and asteroid or meteors or moons do not have. With the comet when it gets closer and closer to the sun the energy and heat that comes off of the sun starts to melt the fire of the nucleus, and then the nucleus then starts to evaporate. With asteroids it is a small rocky thing that is placed somewhere in our solar system. Each asteroid is different. There is not one time were the same asteroid is there. There are some asteroids that are soft and some that are metallic and fast. Some asteroids are different sizes and shapes because they go through space and nock into other kind rocks. Meteors are those things that we wish upon. Shooting stars. Meteors are made by really small “inter-planetary” dust that burn up when they slam into the earth’s surface of our atmosphere at a really fast speed. Moons is the second brightest star in the space that comes after the sun. The moon orbits around the earth one time a month. Gravity comes from the moon; one of the most noticeable things is the tides. Gravity is stronger when the earth is facing the moon then when the earth is not facing the moon.
I predict that if we had two moons, you would have a lot more tides and waves action. The Gravity wouldn’t be stronger unless the moons would be right next to each other. The thing that would change if the moons are in the different side of the earth, is that gravity would happen the same at both sides of the earth. If the Distance from the moon increased or decreased it would definitely change some things. If the distance from the moon to the earth increased then of course that would mean that moon is getting further away from the earth. That means that there would be less tides and waves in the ocean and also weather would change. It the distance from the earth to the moon decreased, then that means that the moon is getting closer to the earth. That means that there would be more tides and waves would be bigger and greater. Also the weather would change greatly. There would be more storms and more things like that.
